Service Alert: September 27, 2013

It seems that there is a situation where the data centre (not our server directly) is being targeted by some hackers. They are attempting a Denial of Service attack which means that they are trying to suck up all the bandwidth so that sites using the same network connection won't serve web pages. This could mean that page loading could be intermittant and web sites may take longer to load or not load at all. Normally, if you refresh, the page will load properly.

The data centre is working to stop this attack. We'll post to twitter and on our web site www.akicreative.com when we have confirmation that the bad guys have been stopped.

[UPDATE: September 27, 2013 - 3:39pm]

After further investigation, we have pinpointed the issue to the Canadian ISP Rogers Media. Seems they have been having some connection issues. So this issue may only affect those who have Rogers Media as their Internet Service Provider.

Thanks for your patience. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
